"We finished the season 6-4," said defensive lineman Christopher Moore.
"We ended up losing in the sectionals. I had a pretty good year. I know I made about 60 tackles. I also played offensive tackle half the year.
"Iowa, Duke and Northwestern are the schools that have offered me a scholarship. Vanderbilt, Minnesota, Notre Dame and Stanford are still talking to me as well."
Moore, a 6-foot-6, 240-pounder, from Mendota Heights (MN) St. Thomas Academy is a three-year varsity starter that has been named all-conference the past few seasons.
Does Moore have any official visits set?
"Yes, I'm going to Northwestern (11-15), Iowa (11-22) and Duke (12-6). I don't have anything else set up yet. I don't have a leader.
"Academics are very important to me. Win-loss records don't mean that much. Things can change from year to year.
"The coaching staff at each school will also play a factor in my decision. How well I fit in the program is also important."
Chris Moore is the captain of both the football and track teams. He carries a 3.2 GPA and scored 1140 on his SAT.
