No Problem With Admissions

Northwestern is actively recruiting one of the top offensive line prospects in Illinois. This young man has two December official visits set and he shouldn't have a problem getting admitted to Northwestern University.

"I have scholarship offers from Northern Illinois, Bowling Green and Ball State, said offensive lineman Chris Bartula.

"I have a couple of (official) visits set up right now. I'm going to Northern Illinois (12-6) and Illinois (12-13).

"Western Michigan, Northwestern and Stanford are calling every week. Illinois, Northwestern, Stanford, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan are my favorites.

"I don't have a leader at this point."

Bartula, a 6-foot-7, 270-pounder, from Carol Stream (Ill.) Glenbard North is a two-year varsity starter who's also a very good student.

Bartula carries a 5.0 GPA and he scored 31 on his ACT.
