"My (Northwestern) visit went very well," said linebacker Adam Kadela.
"Tim McGarigle was my host and we got along pretty well.
"Coach Patton picked me up from the airport on Friday morning. After we ate lunch, I had a meeting with coach Walker.
"Friday afternoon, I sat in on the linebackers meeting and then I went out to watch practice.
"Saturday we had some academic meetings and we took a tour of the campus with a few of the coaches.
"I met with coach Walker again on Sunday morning and then I caught a flight home."
Kadela, a 6-foot-3, 225-pounder, from Dublin (Ohio) Coffman is a three-year varsity starter that had 154 tackles and six sacks in 2002.
Did Kadela verbally commit to the Wildcats?
"Yes, I committed." Said Kadela. "I enjoyed the campus, the city of Chicago, the players and the coaches."
Kadela has other official visits set with Duke (12-6), Indiana (12-13) and Louisville (12-20) but he says he'll cancel those visits.
