Moore Returns From Iowa City

Minnesota's Christopher Moore visited Iowa this past weekend. He talks about that visit and he says that one more school will get a visit before he makes his verbal commitment.

"I had a great (Iowa) official visit," said defensive lineman Christopher Moore.

"That was my third time being on the Iowa campus. I didn't commit. I'm going to be visiting Duke on December 6th and that will probably be my last visit.

"I don't have a leader. I really liked it at Northwestern and (head) coach (Randy) Walker will be coming to my house on December 3rd.

"I'm still looking at Minnesota and Notre Dame. I haven't heard from Stanford lately."

Moore, a 6-foot-6, 240-pounder, from Mendota Heights (MN) St. Thomas Academy is a three-year varsity starter and he had 60 solo tackles in 2002.

[Coach Roy adds: Chris had earlier dropped me an e-mail, concerned that we didn't have him in the database as offered and interested in NU. As an alum, I have to be careful about prospect contacts so I decided that he [Chris] should only talk with Chris Pool.

Anyway, from what I've heard, the NU coaches would really like to have Chris Moore playing at Ryan in the future...]
