RB Target On Official Visit

Hinsdale (Ill.) Central running back Brian Grzelakowski is a tough, fast, competitive athlete who could end up playing his college football in Evanston. He's visiting a Big Ten school this weekend.

Hinsdale (Ill.) Central running back, Brian Grzelakowski is on an official visit with the University of Illinois this weekend.

Grzelakowski visited Harvard last weekend and he's hearing from Northwestern also.

"Things are starting to pick up," Grzelakowski said.

"I had a good time at Harvard and I'm going to keep my fingers crossed this weekend on my Illinois visit.

"Coach (Jeff) Genyk from Northwestern has started to call me also. I don't have a leader. I'm just hoping to play D-1 football."

The 5-foot-11, 202-pounder, rushed for 2,355 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2002.

He was named all-state by the Chicago Tribune and Champaign News-Gazette.
