"I made my decision this morning," said defensive end Christopner Moore.
"I actually woke up at 8 o'clock this morning and spoke to my dad for a couple of hours.
"I called Duke this morning and I was going to tell them that I was going to commit to Northwestern.
"My dad interupted the phone call and said that he wanted to talk about it some more.
"After talking about it some more, I decided that my heart told me that Duke was the best fit for me, so I committed to Duke.
"It was a tough decision. Northwestern was my leader for a long time and I was close to commiting to them this morning. Duke was just the better fit."
Moore, a 6-foot-6, 240-pounder, from Mendota Heights (MN) St. Thomas Academy is a three-year starter that was named all-state in 2002.
