"I going to visit Northwestern (1-10), Nebraska (1-17) and San Jose State (1-24) in January," said running back, linebacker John Shevlin.
"I've already been to Minnesota (12-6) and they're my leader right now."
Shevlin, a 6-foot-1, 200-pounder, from Apple Valley (Minn.) Eastview is a three-year varsity starter.
He rushed for 1,650 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2002. On defense, Shevlin had 101 solo tackles, 55 assists, six caused fumbles and six sacks.
Which position will Shevlin play in college?
"I don't have a preference. I'll let the coaching staff figure that out. I just want to get on the field." Shevlin said.
John Shevlin is also a track standout, competing in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 relay. His best 100 meter time is 10.8 seconds.
