"I'm going to Northwestern this weekend," said quarterback, athlete Chris Carr.
"Northern Illinois is my only scholarship offer right now. I'm hearing from Michigan State a little bit and I haven't heard from them in awhile but Arizona State would be my favorite.
"I camped at Michigan and Northwestern this past summer and I visited Michigan State. I played wide receiver my junior year and quarterback this year. I'm being recruited as an athlete."
Carr, a 6-foot-3, 185-pounder, from Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas is a three-year varsity starter.
Two of Carr's teammates will also sign letters of intent in February. Running back David Marrero will sign with Notre Dame and Kicker/Punter Jay Ottovegio is undecided.
