"My (Northwestern) visit went very well," said wide receiver Kim Thompson.
"I didn't make a commitment. I'm going to Stanford this weekend (1-17) and Michigan has started to call.
"What I liked most about Northwestern was that it had a small town atmosphere but the big city (Chicago) is right down the street.
"Ashton Aikens was my host and I know him because we were teammates in high school. The team seemed like a big family and I got along with the coaches very well."
Thompson, a 6-foot-4, 190-pounder, from Beverly Hills (MI) Detroit Country Day is a three-year starter that had 37 receptions for 800 yards in 2002.
