Notre Dame grabbed Prince Shembo and Kendall Moore from North Carolina in 2010. They have commitments from Ben Councell and Matthias Farley for the 2011 recruiting class. Jody Fuller (6-foot-0,200-pounds) is already grabbing recruiting attention from around the country and the Irish are on that list.
"They send me letters and stuff like that," Fuller replied when asked about his contact with Notre Dame. "They send me mail and have invited me to games and everything, but I haven't talked to anyone personally.
"I know they recruit this area a lot. I've heard that, so I'd definitely have interest if they came and offered me. I'd definitely give Notre Dame a good look."
Fuller doesn't know a lot about Notre Dame at this time, but he does know about the Notre Dame tradition, as well as the success their head coach had at Cincinnati.
"I know they've won a lot of national championships," he said. "And I know they (Cincinnati) went to a BCS bowl game last year, and they were pretty good. I know he's (Brian Kelly) a pretty good coach."
Through 10 games Fuller has racked up 55 receptions , 650 yards, and 11 touchdowns. That production and is visits to summer camps at Tennessee and Clemson have caught the eyes of several top programs.
"I have seven offers right now," he said. "South Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, Duke, Clemson, East Carolina, N.C. State. If also getting mail from Florida., Georgia, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Oregon, and USC.
"(The coaches like) that after I catch the ball, I run with it really well. I don't go down easy after I catch the ball. I'm strong, I'm pretty fast and I score touchdowns."
