A look at Army's defensive starters and key reserves heading into Saturday's contest in Yankee Stadium.

Army Front Seven

Defensive end Josh McNary ranks among the nation's best playmakers along the defensive front while middle linebacker and team captain Stephen Anderson holds down the fort inside.

Quick End #44 Josh McNary – Ranks 5th among active sack masters in the FBS with 27.5 in just 33 games entering Saturday's contest….The 6'1' 235-pounder consistently wreaks havoc in opposing backfields, notching 48.5 TFL over his three-year career, by far the best ratio among the nations' top defenders…Also 5th on the squad with 39 tackles including a team-high 12.5 for loss with 9.5 sacks to his credit, a total which ranks 11th nationally...Named 3rd Team All-America last season by, fourth-team by Phil Steele and honorable mention by Sports Illustrated.

Bandit End #94 Jarett Mackey – 6'2" 230-pound athlete has started nine games at BANDIT while occupying the WHIP linebacker position vs. Temple…Has 4.5 TFL, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 32 total tackles in 10 games this season.

Nose Guard #93 Mike Gann – Carries a legacy name at Notre Dame as the son of former Fighting Irish and Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman…6'2" 280-pound defensive tackle has 13.5 TFL over the last two seasons including 6.5 through 10 games this fall…Has started 25 consecutive games dating back to 2008.

Defensive End #96 Marcus Hilton – The Bronx native has started seven games this season with 29 tackles and two QB sacks and three total tackles for loss…6'0" 247-pound end appeared in 24 consecutive games before sitting out the VMI contest this season…Has posted 10 career starts including three this season.

WHIP Linebacker #59 Chad Littlejohn – 6'0" 234-pound junior has played in nine games, starting six in this, his first season as a contributor…Has 30 total tackles (19 assisted) including three for lost yardage.

MIKE Linebacker #50 Stephen Anderson – Productive senior has started 28 games over the last three years (missed three due to injury in '09)' has played in 41 and amassed 252 total tackles…The 5'10" 229-pound Anderson has posted 30.5 tackles-for-loss including 8.5 this season while notching 4.5 career sacks, 4 fumble recoveries, an impressive 9 forced fumbles and 12 passes defended with one interception…Senior captain ranks 19th in school history in total tackle.

ROVER Linebacker #9 Steve Erzinger – Has started 22 straight games and ranks second on the squad this season with 61 total stops including 3.5 for loss with five passes defended…6'1" 222-pound outside ‘backer from Houston recorded 71 tackles as a sophomore starter in 2009.

Army Defensive Backs

Field Cornerback #14 Josh Jackson – Seven-game starter wit 26 tackles and two pass breakups to his credit…The 6'0" 185-pound sophomore also functions as the team's chief return weapon with 7.3 yards per punt return and a 20.3 average on kick-offs.

Boundary Cornerback #2 Richard King – 6'0" 201-pound senior has started five games this season and put notches all over the stat sheet with three passes defended, three picks and a tackle for loss to go with 15 total tackles.

SAM Safety #21 Donnie Dixon – Ranks fourth on the squad with 42 tackles and fifth among the Cadets with 5.5 TFL…6'1" 196-pound senior also has a sack, interception, forced fumble and five passes defended to his credit this fall…Has appeared in 34 consecutive games and amassed 20 starts over the last three seasons.

Free Safety #6 Donovan Travis – Ranks fourth on the team with four interceptions entering Saturday's contest…5'11" 190-pounder has picked off 10 passes in his collegiate career to rank second all-time behind 1946 Heisman Trophy winner Glenn Davis (14)…Has started 29 games amassing 175 tackles including 43 this season to rank third among the Cadets…Snared 8 picks over his last 22 contests with six additional pass breakups.

Key Reserves

SAM Linebacker #20 Jordan Trimble – Eight on the squad with 29 tackles as well as an interception and two passes defended…5'10" 190-pound senior is one of three Trimble brothers to don the black and gold of Army…Has amassed 95 total tackles over four seasons while appearing in 37 games (8 starts).

Linebacker #27 Kingsley Ehie – 5'10" 215-pound athlete opened his collegiate career with three seasons at fullback before switching to the MIKE linebacker role this season…Has posted 25 total tackles in 10 games this season including a career-high six stops vs. VMI…Ehie has added a pass break-up, forced fumble and tackle-for-loss in a backup role this year.

Boundary Cornerback #31 L.B. Brown – Diminutive senior has 16 tackles in nine games – starting two this season…5'6" 170-pounder posted a career high six tackles vs. Hawai'i earlier this season.

Cornerback #3 Antuan Aaron – 5'9" 188-pound junior has started each of the six games in which he's appeared this year and 18 consecutive games for which he suited up dating back to the season opener of 2009…Has 106 career tackles with seven passes defended, an interception and 2.5 tackles for loss…24 starts to his credit in 30 games played since the beginning of the '08 campaign.
