Amir Carlisle had been committed to Stanford for nearly a year, but had opened up his recruitment late in the process.
In December Carlisle to a visit to Notre Dame. It had long been suspected that he would eventually select between Notre Dame and Stanford, but this weekend Carlisle decided to take a last minute visit to USC.
On Sunday Duane Carlisle, Amir's father, confirmed with IrishEyes.com that Amir had switched his commitment.
"Yes he did," Duane Carlisle responded when asked to confirm Amir's commitment to USC.
Carlisle is a four-star prospect and ranked as the No. 16 running back in the country by Scout.com.
