Madaris Working for Irish Offer

Having added to his offer list this week, Monty Madaris knows a little more work could pull him an offer from Notre Dame. We get the latest from the Ohio wide receiver in the Class of 2012.

Life is going good for Monty Madaris of Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller High School. With offers from hometown Cincinnati, and recent offers from Boston College, Michigan State, and Bowling Green, the 2012 recruit knows there is enough interest in his abilities.

However, one program yet to offer has been keeping close tabs of the 6-foot-2, 190-pound talented skill player.

"Notre Dame has been to school a couple of times. They came into my school this week along with Stanford and spoke with my coach."

The center of the Irish conversation was on Madaris getting things in order to earn an offer from the Irish.

"My coach said Notre Dame has a lot of interest in me and all I need to do is get my grades right and Notre Dame would offer me."

While Madaris understands the lengths the Irish must go in recruiting, he feels when all is done he will be in position to earn an Irish offer.

"I'm working hard on and off the field. Right now I am working out with my teammates and track will get started here in a couple of weeks."

Irish Eyes will continue to check with Madaris for the latest interest shown by the Irish. Top Stories
