The second-annual Team USA vs. The World game will be played on Wednesday, Feb. 2, in Austin, Texas. The game will be played at Westlake High School's Chaparral Stadium at 7:30 p.m. CT.
Team USA is represented by some of the top high school football players in the country including five that are committed and expected to sign with Notre Dame on Wednesday. The Notre Dame recruits are, wide receiver George Atkinson, cornerback Josh Atkinson, defensive end Stephon Tuitt, offensive lineman Matt Hegarty, and outside linebacker Anthony Rabasa.
Players will meet for a National Signing Day Breakfast on Wednesday to sign their letters of intent and then fax them into the schools they will be attending.
The World Team players represent American Samoa, Austria, Canada, Finland, Germany, Japan, Mexico and Sweden and were nominated by their national football federations, all of whom, including USA Football, are members of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF). IFAF is comprised of 59 member nations across five continents.
