All Irish: Conor Hanratty

Connecticut OL prospect among the first to fax his LOI to Notre Dame on Wednesday.

Conor Hanratty (OL – 6'4/290): A natural guard, Hanratty enters a shallow position pool on the offensive side of scrimmage, with junior Mike Golic the technical backup at both spots (as well as center) entering spring ball…Position will entertain several new competitors before Hanratty arrives in the summer but will remain one of near and long-term opportunity for the hard-nosed run blocker.

Kelly recruiting profile: Power
Returning offensive linemen: Braxston Cave (C), Lane Clelland (T), Taylor Dever (T), Mike Golic (G/C), Christian Lombard (T), Zack Martin (T), Tate Nichols (T), Andrew Nuss (G/T), Trevor Robinson (G), Chris Watt (G/C)

Baumhower on Hanratty: Notre Dame will be thin at offensive guard, so if Hanratty comes into fall camp ready to compete he could find himself in the two-deep.

Berk on Hanratty: A legacy recruit who will have a chance to help the Irish along the offensive line. Another "RKG" who will find his game taken to another level once he gets on campus and starts working in the Irish strength program. Good overall skills and physical size.
