Kent Taylor (6-foot-5, 215-pounds) had wanted to make a trip to South Bend for Notre Dame's junior day this weekend, but unfortunately he has had to change his plans.
"I talked to coach Alford and told him that I don't think I'm going to make it," Taylor said. "I think we decided to come up for a spring practice instead. We'll be able to get our plane tickets in advance so that it'll be cheaper and also there won't be other kids around, so it will just be me.
"I don't know when I'll be coming up, but it might be for their spring game. I'm not sure about that yet."
Notre Dame has not offered Taylor a scholarship, but he is very high on their recruiting board and he will likely receive an offer at some point.
