Terry Richardson (5-foot-9, 162-pounds) already has scholarship offers from LSU, Alabama, Michigan, Michigan State, USC, Iowa and Indiana. As of yesterday, he can now list Notre Dame on his list of offers.
"They offered me a full scholarship," Richardson said of the Notre Dame scholarship offer. "It's pretty big to me. I don't know that Notre Dame has offered too many players from Cass Tech, so it big. I'm blessed."
Richardson is playing on visiting Notre Dame at some point this spring. Like any other student-athlete, he wants to be able to feel at home when he's on the campus.
"I want to go to the school that wants me the most." he said. "I'm looking for the family atmosphere. Typically, a lot of schools will show you the love when they're recruiting you, but once you get there, the coaches treat you different. I don't want to go to a school like that.
"Personally I want to go where I can talk to the coaches and go to a school with a family atmosphere."
