IrishEyes.com has learned that Gunner Kiel and Maty Mauk had to cancel their plans to visit Notre Dame due to a snow storm that hit the area Thursday night and Friday morning.
Kiel had planned to travel to South Bend on Friday, so that he could get some one-on-one time with the Notre Dame coaches.
Mauk confirmed with IrishEyes.com via text message that he would not be able to attend Notre Dame's junior day on Saturday as planned. Mauk had a basketball game scheduled for Friday night, but it was pushed back to Saturday.
"I'll be back soon for sure," Mauk said in his text.
