James Ross, a 6-foot-1, 220-pound athlete, could not make Notre Dame's junior day on Saturday, so he traveled to Notre Dame on Friday with his long-time friend Terry Richardson for Cass Technical High School (Detroit, Mich.)
IrishEyes.com received a text message from Richardson stating that Ross had been offered by the Notre Dame coaching staff on his visit.
IrishEyes will have more from Ross on his scholarship offer and his visit later on tonight.
