Efe Scott-Emuakpor made a couple unofficial visits to Notre Dame last fall and last weekend the 6-foot-5, 181-pound wide receiver was back on campus for Notre Dame's junior day.
"I was pretty cool," he said. "It's always cool to check out Notre Dame and hear about their history and what coach Kelly and the new staff's plan are. It was great.
"Nothing really stood out, probably because I've already visited Notre Dame a few times and I've already seen most of the campus. I did see some stuff that I'd seen before, but it never gets old. It looks better every time I go."
Scott-Emuakpor is looking for his first scholarship offer, and one from Notre Dame would be huge for him.
"I talked to coach Martin," Efe explained. "He just said that he'd like to see my film from my junior year. He said that I have great size and great ball skills, along with great hands and above average speed. He said that they will probably want to see me at their camp.
"I talked to coach Alford a little bit. He said to keep working. He seems pretty cool and straightforward. I got an idea of how he runs things. He says that he likes to keep things simple.
Although he doesn't have an offer at this time, Scott-Emuakpor is receiving a lot of recruiting attention.
"I have a lot of that going on Michigan State, and Wisconsin," he said. "I get a lot of letters from schools all over the nation. Who knows with the way recruiting works? I might get an offer from someone I never thought that I'd get an offer from and things just jump from there."
