Arcidicano talks ND Junior Day.

Brandon Arcidicano is one of five prospects from Archbishop Wood High School (Pa.) that participated in the Notre Dame junior day.

Brandon Arcidicano isn't a stranger to big-time football programs. His older brother Mark is currently playing at Penn State. Despite having seen the ins and outs of a major program, Brandon was still impressed with what Notre Dame had to offer.

"It was fun…It was really cool," Arcidicano. "I was up there with a lot of my teammates and my brother Nick and my dad. It was fun. Well all hung out. We toured Notre Dame Stadium, the Golden Dome… it was great.

"This was actually my first time meeting the coaches. We got along really well. They're good guys. They said that they'd come out when they're doing their visits this spring and then they invited me to a couple of their camps.

"I think I'm in the mix," Arcidicano said of his chances to receive a scholarship offer from Notre Dame. "They're talking to my coaches. They aren't really sure yet where I fit. I'm not really sure yet, but it's pretty early."

At 6-foot-4, 245-pounds Arcidicano is light compared to most offensive linemen. Despite that he's receiving interest from several of the top programs in the big East.

"A lot of people are recruiting me for center," he said. "I'm trying to get my weight up. I'm not really worried about the weight, but I'm still trying to gain it.

"My one offer is from Rutgers. UConn is really interested in me along with West Virginia, Purdue, and Syracuse." Top Stories
