Richardson has a busy Spring

Terry Richardson from Cass Technical High School (Detroit, Mich.) is one of the top cornerbacks in the Midwest. Richardson is trying to stay in contact with all the schools that have offered him a scholarship, but that takes up a lot of time.

Terry Richardson (5-foot-9, 162-pounds) already visited Notre Dame earlier this spring, and he'd like to get back to South Bend in the next couple weeks if his schedule will allow it.

"I'm going to try to get back down there for a practice or their spring game, but I'm really not sure yet," Richardson said. "I'm just about to start outdoor track, so I'll have to see what I can work out.

Richardson has been staying in regular contact with the Notre Dame coaching staff, but that doesn't mean that the Irish have a leg up on any of the other schools.

"I try to keep in touch with them (Notre Dame)," he said.. "But there's no school that's big for me right now. It's too early to like anybody a lot, because the coaches can't call you. I'm open. I don't have a leader. I don't have a top-5 or a top-10. I will have a top-10 by August. I'll have my top-5 near the start of my senior season.

"I'm trying to get out to the schools that I have scholarship offers from, so I can check them out. I don't really know how my outdoor (track) season will go right now, so I'll have to check into it." Top Stories
