Dohn Joins IE

Scout's Brian Dohn is now part of the Irish Eyes team. added a new member to its staff Tuesday as Brian Dohn joined the team as a recruiting reporter.

"One of my most memorable moments early in my 20-year journalism career took place in the late 1990s when I was in South Bend, Ind., to cover a basketball game and was given a tour of Notre Dame Stadium," Dohn said. "Included was a tour of the locker room, where I was able to walk down the stairway, under the "Play Like A Champion Today" sign and onto the field.

"I am thrilled to join as a recruiting reporter," Dohn continued. "I spent 18 years in newspapers, including 11 at the Los Angeles Daily News, where I covered the Los Angeles Dodgers and then UCLA football and basketball. I left the newspaper industry to join 18 months ago, and I loved every second of it.

"I possess a passion for my job, and I love covering the twists and turns of recruiting. I look forward to joining, and joining the team to ensure it is the best place for Notre Dame information."

Dohn joins recruiting analyst Dave Berk and managing editor Tim O'Malley as part of the team. Top Stories
