"It does a little bit. I'm with my uncle two or three times a week and we're always talking about football. He says live it and don't worry about the name attached because everybody is going to do that. He says make yourself what you are and be the best you can be."
How did Kelly feel he did on Friday?
"I think I did good. There are things I can work on and even the best guys here have things to work on. But to come out here and compete and have fun, that is what I love to do."
One program that has shown some interest and has stopped by his school is Notre Dame. How are things going between him and the Irish?
"They are contacting my coaches and also my dad and uncles. I'm interested in them and they are a great program and it speaks for itself.
Coach Diaco just came to my school a couple of weeks ago and he's a cool guy. He's an awesome guy and he knows what he is doing. Hopefully we can build a better relationship."
This past season Kelly saw a change of scenery moving from Pennsylvania to Buffalo, New York. On the field Kelly passed for more than 2,100 yards and 25 touchdowns and rushed for another 1,000 yards and scored 14 touchdowns.
