Ciulla Impressed with Visit to Notre Dame

Kennesaw, GA is home to one of the top offensive linemen in the South and probably the country. Jeremy Ciulla is 6-6, 275-pounds and is starting to received offers from many of the top programs in the country. Ciulla visited Notre Dame last weekend and came away very impressed.

Jeremy Ciulla has been receiving a lot of attention lately. "I have offers from Stanford, Auburn, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Notre Dame," said Ciualla. That is a pretty impressive list and Ciulla is an impressive kid.

Ciulla benches 310 pounds, squats 455 and cleans 290. He also has a 3.5 core GPA and scored a 1040 on his first attempt at the SAT. "I'm going to take it again." said Ciualla.

Ciulla visited Notre Dame this past weekend for the spring game. He came away impressed with Notre Dame and the coaching staff. "I really liked it a lot. I liked it the most out of any school I've been to. The campus is really nice and I really liked coach Willingham and the rest of the coaches. He's really a good guy and he spent over an hour talking to my Mom and I. He offered me a scholarship at the end of our conversation."

Ciulla came away so impressed he is thinking about committing. "I am thinking about committing to Notre Dame but I am not sure yet. I told some other schools I would visit them so I might take my visits. If I take my visits, I will likely do that when I am allowed to take my official visits. I'm still thinking about it and Notre Dame is definitely my favorite school."

The big offensive lineman is interested in other schools and the schools he might visit are impressive. "I will probably visit Miami and LSU and Stanford."

Education is the most important thing for Ciualla. "I want to get a good education. I also want to go to a school with a good football program and Notre Dame has both."

Comments. Situations like these usually go one of two ways. Ciulla will either commit soon or he is going to wait and look at other schools. I will keep an eye on him but I don't think he is certain at this point. I think he wants to wait and bit and see what happens. Notre Dame is clearly in the lead. He would fit in well at Notre Dame and offensive line is certainly a need area. His commitment would be a great start. Top Stories
