That will all change on Tuesday when he and his family make the trek to South Bend so his family can see all the Irish have to offer.
"I know it's going to be a long day," Ifeadi said Monday night. "We are going to be leaving like at 5:30 in the morning and our tour is to start around 10:00 and go until late in the afternoon. But I guess I can get some sleep on the way up, or the way back."
The trip to Notre Dame is more for the family than for the standout linebacker.
"I saw a lot when I was there the last time. But my family has never been there and I would like for them to see everything."
One thing Irish fans should not expect to happen is a commitment.
"I've got a few more visits to make before I make any decision. I don't see those taking place this week so they'll have to wait until the season starts as we get our equipment on Sunday and then start practice on Monday."
Ifeadi says he'll check back with Irish Eyes late Tuesday or early Wednesday, in an effort to avoid phone conversations in the car ride home.
