The Experts' Take: ND Commit C.J. Prosise

A number of Scout.com's national recruiting analysts were at Walt Disney World a few weeks ago to watch the Gridiron Kings 7-on-7 event, which involved plenty of Notre Dame commits and prospects. IrishEyes.com is using their knowledge in "The Experts' Take" feature, breaking down those players.

Four of Scout.com's national recruiting analysts were at Walt Disney World late last month for the Gridiron Kings 7-on-7 tournament. After the event, IrishEyes.com asked for scouting reports from each person on prospects either committed or considering Notre Dame.

Today, we continue our series in which Bob Lichtenfels, Chad Simmons and Greg Powers breakdown a prospect.

Player: C.J. Prosise
Projected Pos: S
Ht: 6-2
Wt: 190
School: Woodberry Forest (Va.) School
Schools being considered Committed to Notre Dame

Lichtenfels says: Not many people even knew who C.J. was until he committed to Notre Dame that is how under-the-radar he was. Well, it is safe to say that is not the case anymore. He is a ball hawk and has exceptional closing speed. His instincts are very good, he just always seems to be around the ball. His film is impressive, but he is even more impressive in person. He also has very good size with a projectable frame. He is going to be a big kid and impressive college football player.

Simmons says: He's a bigger kid at safety, and I remember him always putting himself in good position. He's a guy that is always going to be around the ball. He has good instincts in the secondary.

Powers says: He was one of the most physically impressive guys there. I did actually see him grab two interceptions but I didn't watch all their games. He's big, athletic, moves pretty good and has those long arms you look for in an elite prospect.
