Douglas Recaps Irish Visit

Ohio class of 2013 cornerback Ross Douglas recaps his unofficial visit for Notre Dame's win over Michigan State on Saturday.

One of the several 2013 prospects to take in Notre Dame's win over Michigan State was Avon (OH) cornerback Ross Douglas. The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder spoke with about his game day experience.

How was his first game day experience at Notre Dame?

"I liked it," said Douglas. "Notre Dame is a great team and they played another great team in Michigan State. The game was great and I really enjoyed being there."

Prior to the game Douglas spoke with a couple of Irish coaches.

"I talked with my main recruiting coach (Ed) Warinner," said Douglas. "I also spoke with defensive back coach Chuck Martin who I've been in contact with before my visit."

What have the Irish coaches told him about their interest?

"They want me to get them a game highlight tape ASAP," said Douglas. "They said that they'll be in my school soon and that they'll keep up with my progress with my coach."

What did Douglass like about his visit?

"The campus is really nice," he said. "Notre Dame reminded me of something out of Harry Potter (Hogwarts) and I found the people there are really passionate about the football program and seem really involved with the university."

How did it stack up to other visits he's made?

"It wasn't as crazy as my visit to Michigan," said Douglas. "However, Notre Dame fans are very involved and passionate during the game and that impressed me a lot." Top Stories
