Recruit Wrap: ND Commits and Prospects

Each week during the high school season will provide a recap of how Notre Dame commits and recruiting targets fared during the weekend.

Welcome to the "Recruit Wrap," an feature that appears Monday during the high school season.

It will be a mix of players already committed to Notre Dame as well as updates on players who are being recruited by the Irish. It is designed to give readers a potpourri of information on how recruits are faring on a weekly basis.

Committed to Notre Dame
Woodberry Forest (Va.) continued its rough start by falling to 1-2 with a 10-9 loss to Lynchburg Christian Academy.

Washington Union (Fresno, Calif.) receiver Deontay Greenberry had nine catches for 188 yards and two TDs, and made five tackles in a 23-13 win against Sunnyside.

Butler (Vandalia, Ohio) offensive tackle Taylor Decker was a key member of a 34-7 win against Miamisburg.

Warren Central (Indianapolis) defensive tackle Sheldon Day had two tackles in a 50-19 win against North Vigo.

Klein Oak (Spring, Texas) quarterback Nick Baratti played running back and receiver and rushed for 14 yards on three carries and caught six passes for 56 yards in a 34-28 win against Klein Collins. He also punted three times for a 44-yard average.

Oxon Hill (Potomac) cornerback/running back Ronald Darby carried 18 times for 65 yards, including a two-point conversion, in a 22-14 win against Douglas.

Berkeley Prep (Tampa) athlete Nelson Agholor rushed 18 times for 118 yards and three TDs and caught one pass and had a tackle in a 35-0 win against Lake Highland Prep.

Chaparral (Scottsdale, Ariz.) athlete Davonte Neal ran twice for 47 yards and a score, caught for passes for 104 yards and a TD and returned a kick 90 yards for a score in a 79-13 win against McClinton.

Mariner (Everett, Wash.) running back Keivarae Russell ran 26 times for 133 yards and two TDs in a 31-27 loss to Edmonds-Woodary.

St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) running back Dami Ayoola ran six times for 22 yards and caught a pass in a 30-6 win against De La Salle.

Centreville (Clifton, Va.) defensive end Ken Ekanem had two catches for 69 yards in a 41-14 win against Herndon. Top Stories
