Impressive, that's the first word that comes to mind when watching defensive back Kwame Ageyman on film.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder, from Itasca (Ill.) Lake Park already has offers from Northwestern and Indiana. If the college recruiters get a hold of his highlight tape, more offers will come his way.
Ageyman is a fierce competitor that lines up as a safety for Lake Park and that looks like it would be his best position at the next level as well.
Kwame is a very good football player and he plays with a Jack Tatum type mentality. He makes big hits all over the field. Whether its on a blitz or in coverage, Ageyman's main objective is to apply as much pain as possible to whomever has the football.
The big hits that we saw on film were Mike Doss like hits and that's exactly who Ageyman reminds us of.
Ageyman has exceptional closing speed and he uses his quickness and strength to make plays. Kwame had a very good showing at the (Ann Arbor) Nike Camp as well.
Kwame Ageyman is a definite Illinois "Top 30" prospect as well as a Midwest "Hot 100" prospect as well.
Ageyman's older brother, Nana, is a cornerback for the University of Illinois. Notre Dame, Iowa, Oregon, Illinois, Penn State and Vanderbilt are Kwame's current favorites.
