Lawlor Impressed With Notre Dame

Fullback prospect Dan Lawlor just returned from his unofficial visit to Notre Dame. The 6-2, 235-pound fullback prospect enjoyed his visit and the Irish are one of his top schools. Will the Irish offer?

Dan Lawlor loved his visit to Notre Dame. "It's incredible," said Lawlor. "Everything about that place is amazing. I loved the coaches, the campus, pretty much everything about the place."

Lawlor currently has offers from Penn State, Maryland, Iowa, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Connecticut right now. He is hoping for an offer from Notre Dame. "I talked to all the coaches there. They showed me all around the campus and we had a great visit but I'm not sure what they are going to do yet with an offer."

Lawlor says he doesn't plan to camp anywhere at this time and that he will probably visit some schools over the summer.

The Mechanicsburg, PA prospect does have a list of top schools right now however. "I like Notre Dame, Penn State, Maryland and Iowa the most right now. I don't know when I will make a decision. Whenever it feels right I guess. My Dad kind of kids me about going to Virginia Tech where he played. We went there and they seem interested but I'm not sure what they are going to do either. I will probably just wait and see what happens this summer and visit a few more schools."

Comments. I think if Notre Dame offers, they will have a great shot to land Lawlor. Guess we will know soon enough of this one.
