Comments - Vincennes (Ind.) Lincoln quarterback Curtis Painter has become one of the most talked about prospects in the Hoosier state during the May Evaluation period.
Some college recruiters have even said the Painter is a better prospect than Lafayette (Ind.) Jefferson quarterback Mike Vlahogeorge.
"Indiana and Ball State have offered me a scholarship so far," said Painter.
"Purdue, Tennessee and Illinois have called me so far this month.
"My favorites are Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan State, Kentucky, Notre Dame and Tennessee."
Painter threw for 2,122 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2002. Curtis says he'll camp this summer at a few of the schools that are recruiting him but nothing has been set in stone as of yet.
