Justin Hoskins attended Notre Dame junior day and came away very impressed with Notre Dame. "It was sweet," said Hoskins of his visit to Notre Dame. "I liked it a lot. It was a beautiful campus. Tyrone Willingham pulled me out of the group and I was the only guy he pulled out of the group and talked to me for about an hour in his office. He told me what Notre Dame had to offer and said I would know within a few weeks if I would be getting an offer and it was a high possibility that I would be offered."
Hoskins was also very impressed with Willingham. "He's a great guy and he's really down to earth. We talked for a long time so I didn't get to see all of the campus. I'm going to go down there again so I can see what I didn't get to see."
The Michigan prospect does have some plans for the summer. "I plan on going to a bunch of one-day camps. I'm going to Michigan and Notre Dame. I will try to get down to Florida because they are showing interest. I will probably go to Colorado, Iowa, Ohio State and Purdue too."
Hoskins is also a stand-out in track with a personal best of 10.6 in the 100 and has jumped 24'6" in the long jump.
Hoskins said he would like to commit early but that will depend on which schools have offered but said he would like to make his decision before his season.
As for his top schools. "Michgan, Notre Dame and Florida are my top three. Iowa, Ohio State, Colorado and Oregon are some other schools I'm looking at."
Comments. Will he get offered by Notre Dame? If he does, I expect the Irish to be in the race. The good news is he plans to go to Notre Dame again. I will keep a close eye on Hoskins.
