Update: Mark Harrell

Mark Harrell has been at the forefront in helping recruit players to Notre Dame for the class of 2012. A future offensive lineman for the Irish, Harrell, like many, learned about changes in the Irish coaching staff as he was away from home preparing for the Semper Fi Bowl. IrishEyes.com has a short update from the North Carolina offensive lineman.

Taking part in the first Semper Fi Bowl has been a great experience for Notre Dame offensive line pledge Mark Harrell.

Harrell, along with Irish fans across the country learned of changes in the coaching staff while in Arizona getting ready for the game.

Does Harrell have any second thoughts about his decision to sign with Notre Dame on National Signing Day?

"I'm still solid for Notre Dame," Harrell told IrishEyes.com by text message. "I've spoken with coach (Mike) Elston and he said he would let me know soon."

Harrell, who will return home to Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday, is eager to learn who his new position coach will be when he arrives on campus.

IrishEyes.com plans on speaking with Harrell following his return home.
