Latest on Notre Dame Commit Taylor Decker

The recruiting process remains fluid and IrishEyes.com has an update as of Friday morning on the status of Notre Dame offensive tackle commit Taylor Decker.

A week after telling IrishEyes.com he was solid with his pledge to Notre Dame, Taylor Decker has made the decision to visit Ohio State this weekend for an official visit.

Decker, 6-foot-8, 300-pounds, is one of the top offensive linemen in Ohio, and a four-star recruit in the final Scout.com rankings.

Friday morning we learned the following.

"Taylor will be visiting Ohio State this weekend, and he will be going there on Saturday," a source close to Decker told Scout.com Ohio recruiting analyst Bill Greene. "I'm not sure if it's an official visit, or not, but he will be there Saturday."

IrishEyes.com was able to reach Decker by text message and was told his visit to Ohio State would be an official one and he's not spoken with reported incoming offensive line coach Harry Hiestand.

IrishEyes.com will continue to follow the developments with Decker during the weekend.
