Patton's Camp Plans Cloudy

Columbia, MO prospect Chase Patton is a hot name when considering quarterbacks. He has 10 offers so far and planned to attend Notre Dame camp. He still might but his plans are cloudy right now.

Chase Patton had planned to attend camps at Michigan, Notre Dame and Purdue. "I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I just found out today that my grandfather died and we were supposed to leave for Michigan on Saturday. I was going to spend a few days there and then head to Notre Dame followed by Purdue. I'm not sure I can make that now." My sympathy to the Patton family.

Patton has received some new offers. "Missouri, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Georgia, Tennessee, UCLA, Stanford and Wyoming have offered me now."

Patton said he is not sure on his plans at this point. "We might head out to Las Vegas to the Nike Camp there. That is the last camp and I would like to go to the Elite 11 camp. They have picked six so far and are actually taking 12. I also might make some unofficial visits but that will depend on how much all of this is going to cost."

Patton says he is trying to narrow his list down. "I would like to go through the whole process and take my visits. If I see something this summer that I can't pass up, I would commit but I would like to take my visits. I will narrow it down to 3-5 by the end of summer, hopefully three."

Comments. With a death in the family, it doesn't look likely that he will attend camp. My best wishes to his family and hopefully he will take an unofficial to Notre Dame this summer. Top Stories
