Leon Hart Hopes to Hear More From Irish

Leon Hart is a wanted man. The 6-4, 280-pound offensive lineman has a very impressive list of offers so far and more are likely on the way. The Columbia, SC prospect remains wide open at this point and is hoping to learn more about Notre Dame in the future.

Leon Hart has an impressive junior season grading out at 88 percent in offensive line play with 50 knock-down blocks. He also has 18 offers so far. "South Carolina, Clemson, Wake Forrest, North Carolina, Duke, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Virginia and Maryland have offered me," said Hart.

Hart plans to make a few camps this summer. "On Saturday I'm going to a one-day camp and South Carolina. I'm also going to Florida's senior camp."

Big Leon is also a solid student. "I have a 3.1 in my core and I scored a 940 on my SAT."

The Irish appear interested in Hart. "They came out to watch me play but I didn't get a call or an offer from them. I'm interested but I'm more interested in the schools that have offered me. I don't know much about Notre Dame other than the football stuff. If they offered me I would be on their mailing list and I could learn more about the school. Right now I'm just focusing on the schools that have offered me."

Hart says he has begun to narrow things down a bit. "I've talked to my coach and family about it and I've narrowed it down some but I don't wish to say who the top schools are right now."

Comments. Leon says he will take his visits before deciding so there is time. I'm not sure how interested Notre Dame is in him but everyone else seems to be. We'll have to wait and see if Notre Dame starts recruiting him harder in the future.
