Drew Miller says he has a lot of offers. "I have a lot but the big name schools are Michigan, Florida, Miami, Florida State, Tennessee and Ohio State right now."
The Florida native says that the Irish have been sending him letters but that is about it. "They send me a lot of hand-written letters but I didn't get a call from them and they haven't offered. They are one of the schools I've always liked. I'm still interested in them, I'll have to see if they offer."
Miller is fully qualified so grades likely aren't the issue. He has a 2.7 in his core and scored 1,000 on his SAT.
Miller says the coaching staff will be important in his decision. "I think the coaching staff and how I get a long with the players will be important. All the schools I'm looking at have good academics and good facilities so coaching, the players and the tradition will be the most important thing."
So who are his top schools? "Florida, Miami, Tennessee, Georgia and Notre Dame. Georgia and Notre Dame haven't offered me yet though."
Comments. Miller is a top prospect in the south. He does have an impressive list of offers. If the Irish offer, I think he will considering Notre Dame strongly. He said he would like to take a visit to Notre Dame if they offer. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
