Indiana QB Visits Notre Dame

Lafayette (Ind.) McCutcheon quarterback Mike Vlahogeorge is working out for the Irish football coaches today and he hopes to earn a scholarship offer.

"I have offers from Indiana and most of the MAC schools," said quarterback Mike Vlahogeorge.

"I visited Purdue and I think they like me. They've offered a few quarterbacks and I might have to wait to see what happens with that.

"I'm going to pick between Notre Dame, Indiana, Purdue, Tennessee and Michigan. Both Tennessee and Michigan told me I'm on their (recruiting) board and will look at me this fall.

"I'm going to Notre Dame on Monday to work out for the coaches. I've already camped at Purdue, Indiana and Tennessee."

Vlahogeorge, a 6-foot-4, 220-pounder, from Lafayette (Ind.) Jefferson is one of the "Top 10" quarterback prospects in the Midwest.

He passed for 4,285 yards and 37 touchdowns as a junior. Those numbers were good enough for all-state honors. Top Stories
