Anthony Vernaglia lives his visit to Notre Dame. "I loved it," said Vernaglia. "It was exceptionally good. I loved the tradition and the coaches. The coaches are just ordinary guys. The academics are outstanding and the stadium is amazing. Just thinking about all the things that have happened there. You also get to be on NBC every game."
His parents were also impressed with Notre Dame. "They loved it. My Mom especially. They really liked it a lot."
Vernaglia is nearing a decision. "Right now I would say that Notre Dame and Virginia are just slightly ahead of Penn State and USC. I am close to making my decision. I've been talking it over with my parents since I left Notre Dame. We've talked about it a lot but I'm not sure if it will be days or weeks before I decide."
The one factor in this decision could be distance. "That could play a role. Notre Dame is far but Virginia and Penn State are even further. If I want to stay close to home it will be USC. I just need to think it over and talk with my parents more."
Comments. Sounds like Anthony is ready to pop soon. I think ND is setting good with him. I think both parents like Notre Dame quite a bit. Virginia and USC are the two other teams in this race I believe. I would not be surprised if he decided real soon.
