Lyles Enjoys Camp at Notre Dame

Hubbard high school in Chicago, IL is home to Nate Lyles. The 6-0, 190-pound defensive back recently attended Notre Dame's camp and left with an offer from Notre Dame. Did the Irish make a positive impression?

Nate Lyles has a few offers including one from Notre Dame. "I have offers from Northwestern, Illinois, Notre Dame, Eastern Michigan and Cincinnati so far," said Lyles. "Stanford, Michigan, Virginia and Penn State are some other schools recruiting me. Most schools are recruiting me as a safety or cornerback."

Lyles really enjoyed his trip to Notre Dame. "It went really well. They really wanted to see me play because they didn't have much film to evaluate me. They said I really impressed them when I worked out and they were going to recruit me as a cornerback."

Lyles was most impressed with the Notre Dame coaching staff. "I was very impressed with the coaching staff. They are very down to earth and seem very honest with you. I liked talking with all of them."

Don't expect a decision to come soon from Lyles. "I want to find a comfortable environment. I need to take some visits to other schools before I decide what I want to do. I'm not sure I will take all my visits though. I'm going to wait and see who offers me and then visit some schools before I decide."

Comments. Lyles didn't mention any favorites when asked but I could tell the Irish are high on his list. He spoke very highly of Notre Dame and their coaching staff and mentioned that he had visited there a couple of other times as well. I think the Irish are in good shape with him."
