Recruiting Reset: Receivers

Notre Dame's recruiting board is concentrated since the Irish have 19 commitments, including 11 on offense. is taking a look at the offered recruits remaining on the board, and the latest stop focuses on receivers.

Of Notre Dame's 19 committed prospects, 11 are on the offensive side of the ball.

The Irish are filled at quarterback, tight end, offensive line and running back, but remain in the mix for another receiver and a multi-purpose running back.

The Irish filled needs at receiver with the commitments of James Onwualu of Cretin-Durham Hall (St. Paul, Minn.), Corey Robinson of San Antonio (Texas) Christian Schools and Will Fuller of Roman Catholic High (Philadelphia, but they are not done. The remaining receiving targets on the offensive side of the ball for the 2013 class are concentrated, and takes a look at where Notre Dame stands with the receivers holding offers.

Devon Allen, WR, 6-1, 190, Brophy Prep, Phoenix, Ariz.
The Irish already have three receivers committed but are looking to take another. Allen visited South Bend, Ind., in late July and could return for an official visit. Getting him back for that would be huge. The Irish are a player, but need to continue to gain ground to be considered serious contenders.

Alvin Bailey, WR, 5-11, 175, Armwood High, Seffner, Fla.
The Irish made Bailey's trimmed down list, and a summer visit to campus helped the Irish's cause. However, an official visit is needed if the Irish are to become heavily involved. At this point, getting him out of the southeast region will be difficult as there are plenty of rumblings he could wind up at UCF.

Laquon Treadwell, WR, 6-3, 190, Crete-Monee High, Crete, Ill.
The Irish remain in the hunt for Treadwell, but need to improve their standing. Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Michigan and Auburn are also involved, but at this point beating the Wolverines will be a chore. Notre Dame is selling academics and being the next Michael Floyd (which is a common recruiting pitch), and a decision could come at any time.

Torii Hunter, WR, 6-0, 170, Prosper (Texas) High
Hunter made a late July visit to Notre Dame and it went well. He was impressed by the academics and is looking at a possible official visit. Trips to Nebraska, Utah, Arizona and Arizona State were also on his docket as he looks for a school with a strong mix of academics and football.

Jordan Cunningham, WR, 6-1, 175, University School of Nova Sout, Fort Lauderdale
Williams made visits to Miami, Florida State and Stanford and he is planning official visits to Alabama and Notre Dame, but dates have not been set. Academics will play a big role in his decision.

Tyler Boyd, WR, 6-1, 175, Clairton (Pa.) High
Boyd was high on Penn State until the NCAA sanctions were announced and now he is reconsidering everything. Notre Dame is one of the programs high on his radar, but West Virginia is also under strong consideration.

Juwaan Williams, WR, 6-0, 172, Tucker (Ga.) High.
Williams has an official visit to Notre Dame set to see the Irish play Michigan on Sept. 22. His top five include the Irish as well as Clemson, Florida State, Oregon and Vanderbilt. Williams also has an official set to Oregon for Oct. 7. Top Stories
