A look at how Notre Dame's committed members of the 2013 and 2014 classes fared last weekend:

  • Archbishop Alter High (Kettering, Ohio) quarterback Malik Zaire completed 19 of 32 fr 344 yards, five touchdowns and one interception and ran 14 times for 91 yards and a touchdown in 42-35 win against Fairmont High of Ketttering.

  • Bishop Luers High (Fort Wayne, Ind.) five-star outside linebacker had eight tackles, including a sack, in a 21-17 win against Northrop High.

  • Defensive lineman Isaac Rochell played on the defensive line as Eagles Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, Ga.) in a 24-19 loss to Washington Country.

  • Middle linebacker Michael Deeb made 10 tackles as American Heritage High (Plantation, Fla.) beat Coral Reef High (Miami) 25-17.

  • Bishop Hartley High (Columbus) scored on an 18-yard reception in a 42-0 win against Amanda-Clearcreek of Amanda, Ohio.

  • Apollo High (Owensboro, Ky.) offensive lineman Hunter Bivin played offensive tackle in a 21-7 loss to Owensboro High. A handful of turnovers cost Apollo as it fell to 0-2.

  • Steven Elmer played on both sides of the line of scrimmage for Midland (Mich.) High in a 29-28 win against Canton (Mich.) High.

  • Gonzaga Prep (Washington, D.C.) cornerback Devin Butler made a pair of tackles in a 35-0 win against Coolidge High (Washington, D.C.).

  • Colin McGovern of Lincoln-Way High (New Lenox, Ill.) played on the offensive line in a 19-13 loss to Sycamore High.

  • Class of 2014 receiver Justin Brent made four catches for 72 yards and made six tackles as Speedway (Ind.) High lost to Scecina Memorial 27-26. Top Stories
