Fisher Hoping for Irish Offer

Richardson, TX is home to Parrish Fisher. The 5-10, 200-pound halfback prospect has impressed Irish Eyes with his highlight film and his attitude. Many schools have also taken notice by offering the Texas product. Where do the Irish stand on his list?

Parrish Fisher has an impressive offer list. "Kansas State, Baylor, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Iowa, Arizona, Boston College, SMU, Colorado, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, Wyoming and Utah have offered me."

The Irish also seem interested in Fisher. "The last time I've spoken to them was during the calling period. They said they were very interested and that they needed to take my tape back for the running back coach to look at and the head coach. He said he thought I could play there and they would get back to me."

Fisher is a solid student as well. "I have a 92 percent average right now and I scored a 19 on my ACT."

The Pearce high school product sas he's very interested in Notre Dame. "Definitely, it's a prestigious program. When you think of football, you think of Notre Dame. I'm very interested in Notre Dame and I'm hoping they recruit me."

Fisher says he is wide open right now. "They are all pretty much even. I don't have a favorite or two. I'm going to wait and see who is interested and then start to narrow it down. I will take some visits after my season and see what happens. I don't know if I will take all five but I will take some visits.

Comments. I've seen film on Fisher and I was impressed. Fisher isn't a flashy guy and he doesn't have blinding speed but he makes yards. He has excellent feet and lateral movement. For a guy his size, he moves very well. I'm not sure if the Irish will offer him but I do bet he makes an impact somewhere. He is a great kid and fits the Notre Dame mold. I do think he is going to be a great halfback/tailback in college. Top Stories
