A look at how Notre Dame's committed members of the 2013 and 2014 classes fared over the weekend:

  • Archbishop Alter (Kettering, Ohio) quarterback Malik Zaire was 11 of 17 for 209 yards and three touchdowns and ran six times for 132 yards and two scores in a 49-6 win against Badin.

  • Everett (Mass.) High offensive lineman John Montelus played on the offensive line in a 13-7 overtime loss to Barnstable. It was Everett's first loss in 29 games.

  • Wyomissing (Pa.) Area linebacker Alex Anzalone ran for a career-best 187 yards, including 182 in the second half, and scored twice in a 31-27 win against Pleasant Valley to improve to 5-0.

  • Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, Minn.) receiver James Onwualu carried nine times for 86 yards and two scores, including a 41-yard score, in a 49-7 win against Park.

  • San Antonio (Texas) Christian receiver Corey Robinson did not play because of a foot injury in a 25-23 loss to
  • Bishop Luers High (Fort Wayne, Ind.) linebacker Jaylon Smith was an integral part of a defense that denied a late two-point conversion in a 22-20 win against North Side.

  • Middle linebacker Michael Deeb of American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.) made nine tackles, including a sack, in a 55-7 win against Sebring.

  • Bishop Hartley High (Columbus) tight end Jacob Matuska had a 6-yard touchdown catch in a 28-14 win against Watterson.

  • Apollo High (Owensboro, Ky.) offensive lineman Hunter Bivin played on the offensive line in a 48-27 loss to Hopkinsville.

  • Midland (Mich.) High's Steven Elmer played on the offensive line that helped churn out 225 rushing yards and helped his team move to 6-0 in a 37-21 win against Bay City Central.

  • Gonzaga Prep (Washington, D.C.) cornerback Devin Butler made five tackles in a 24-17 win against Bishop McNamara.

  • Absegami High (Absecon, N.J.) athlete Rashad Kinlaw continues to sit out with an ankle injury but his team beat Millville 24-21.

  • Eagles Landing Christian (McDonough, Ga.) defensive lineman Isaac Rochell continues to deal with a wrist injury and did not play in a 42-3 win against Holy Innocents Episcopal.

  • Mead (Spokane, Wash.) outside linebacker Danny Mattingly played defensive end in a 33-27 loss to Gonzaga Prep.

  • Prosper (Texas) High receiver Torii Hunter Jr. made five catches for 112 yards and three scores in a 45-14 win over Heritage.

  • Colin McGovern of Lincoln-Way High (New Lenox, Ill.) played on the offensive line in a 15-7 loss to Thorton.

  • Cinco Ranch (Katy, Texas) running back Jamel James returned from a leg injury to rush for 115 yards on 12 carries in a 42-35 win against Memorial.

  • Barron Collier (Naples, Fla.) tight end Mike Heuerman had one catch in a 17-0 win over Lely.

  • William Penn Charter (Philadelphia) offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey played a key role on the offensive line in a 33-8 win over Peddie.

  • Roman Catholic (Philadelphia) receiver Will Fuller had a 25-yard touchdown catch in a 37-7 loss to St. Joseph's of Philadelphia.

  • Woodberry Forest (Va.) linebacker Doug Randolph is yet to play this season because of a foot injury and watched a 23-3 loss to Charlotte Country Day.

  • Class of 2014 receiver Justin Brent of Indianapolis (Ind.) Speedway made nine catches for 170 yards and two scores in a 64-24 win against Park Tudor.

  • Class of 2014 linebacker Greer Martini of Woodberry Forest (Va.) School played linebacker and tight end in a 23-3 loss to Charlotte Country Day. Top Stories
