Future Irish In Action

There are still a few members of Notre Dame's recruiting class that are on the field looking to advance in playoff play. Check out what each is doing going into the weekend.

Where are future members of Notre Dame's football program playing this weekend?  We go across the country and take a look.

CLASS OF 2013 

 Steven Elmer and his teammates ended their season with a 11-1 record losing last weekend against Muskegon 49-21.  

 Jacob Matuska and his Bishop Hartley teammates are now 12-0 and will play Ottawa (Ohio) Glandorf in a regioal final game.  Last weekend Bishop Hartley defeated North Union 43-0.  IrishEyes.com will be on hand for this game.

 James Onwualu saw his season end in the first round of the Minnesota playoffs in a hard fought 7-6 loss to Woodbury.  James is now getting ready to report early to Notre Dame.

 Colin McGovern and Lincoln-Way West saw their season come to an end with a 21-20 loss to Joliet (IL) Catholic with a call that made Joliet's head coach call and say it was a bad call and his team should not have been the winner.  

 Hunter Bivin saw his season end early with a 62-6 to Bowling Green in the Regional Quarterfinals. 

 Mike McGlinchey and his William Penn teammates fell to York (PA) Central 44-7 two weekends ago ending their season. 

 Malik Zaire and Kettering (OH) Alter lost in a first round playoff game 42-34 against Springfield (Ohio) Shawnee two weekends ago.  Zaire is now getting ready to report early to Notre Dame.  

 Rashad Kinlaw and Absegami High School are scheduled to take the field against Atlantic City (NJ) on Friday. 

 Corey Robinson and his San Antonio Christian teammates will take a 7-3 record into Saturday nights game against Westbury Christian High School out of Houston, Texas.   

 Devin Butler and his Gonzaga High teammates saw their season end last weekend in a 40-27 loss to Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha.

 John Montelus and Everett High are 9-1 on the season and no game is scheduled. 

 Mike Heuerman and his Barron Collier teammates head into playoff action with a 7-3 mark Friday night against Fort Myers (FL) South.  

 Jaylon Smith and his Bishop Luers teammates continue their run through the Indiana playoffs needing a win over Andrean on Friday night to earn a trip to the state championship game.

  Isaac Rochell and his Eagle's Landing Christian teammates are 9-1 on the season and don't play again until the 23rd of this month against Fairburn (GA) Our Lady of Mercy.

 Danny Mattingly and his Mead High teammates will take a 10-1 record into the second round of the playoffs against Aubrun, Washington.  

 Michael Deeb and his American Heritage teammates are 9-1 as they head into playoff play against Miami (FL) Jackson on Friday night.

 Alex Anzalone and his Wyomissing teammates will take on Leesport (PA) Schuylkill on Friday night.

 Jamel James and his Cinco Ranch teammatesare will take a 7-3 record into the Texas High School playoffs as they play Bellaire on Saturday morning.

 Will Fuller and Roman Catholic High are not scheduled to play this weekend but will be back on the field later this month in a game against Piladelphia (PA) Roxborough (Nov. 22). 

  Doug Randolph and his Woodberry Forest teammates finsihed their season with a 7-3 record.

 Torii Hunter Jr. and his Prosper, Texas teammates played on Thursday night winning 26-14 over Forney.  They will play a team to be announced next weekend in the playoffs.

 Cole Luke and his Chandler (AZ) Hamilton teammates will take a 10-2 record into their game Friday night against Mesa (AZ) Desert Ridge in the second round of the playoffs.


 Greer Martini and Woodberry Forest finished their season with a 7-3 record.

 Justin Brent and his Speedway teammates saw their season end at the end of last month in the first round of the Indiana playoffs with a 49-21 loss against  the No.1 team in the state Indianapolis (IN) Cardinal Ritter.

 The newest member of the Notre Dame 2014 recruiting class Jay Hayes has no game scheduled this weekend.  Poly Prep has a record of 5-3 on the season.
