Brey Still Workin'

Football gets into full swing with the arrival of freshmen on campus in a few days and IrishEyes' focus will be intense. Before then, we've still got to tell you how Hoops Coach Mike Brey is looking for pieces to complete the puzzle--courtesy of Dave Telep's BlueChipHoops.Com on TheInsiders college sports network.

Irish Host Plethora of Prospects

Mike Brey knows that Notre Dame needs to beef up its frontline Thus, the reason for the push in getting Rick Cornett to commit.

Now, it's time for the Golden Domers to get cracking on filling out the rest of their spots up front. On Tuesday, Bloomington North PF Sean May is going to make an unofficial visit to South Bend. May is one of the top dozen prospects in the country and would fill a serious void for the Irish who were hit hard by the loss of Troy Murphy.

Also coming to campus will be MA C/PF Torin Francis. The quickly rising Francis is scheduled to be on campus August 15 and he's making a little mini-tour of campuses this month.

Finally, PF's Bernard Cote and James Augustine are also said to be making unofficial visits to Notre Dame sometime during August. It's safe to say all have been offered scholarships at this juncture and Notre Dame would be listening intently if any of them want to commit.
