Elite 2015 RB previews Irish visit
Running back Mike Weber of Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech just picked up his 5th offer from Ohio State on a trip to Columbus last Saturday. Could more good news be in store for the talented sophomore this Saturday when he visits Notre Dame? "I talk with the (Notre Dame) coaches about every other week," Weber said. "I thought an offer was coming, but the coaches said they want to get me on campus first, which is happening on Saturday." This will be Weber's third trip to Notre Dame. He holds offers from Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Syracuse. "Notre Dame has a really program and their facilities are nice," Weber said. "I've already been up there twice and it's a great campus." The 5-foot-10, 205-running back says his versatility is what makes him stand out. "I'm good at blocking, catching, and running," Weber said. "I can get better at blocking, too." Weber says he does not yet have any favorites. He will be joined by 2015 quarterback Jayru Campbell, who has an Irish offer, and 2014 defensive backs Damon Webb, Tim Cason, and Jalen Embry on the visit to Notre Dame.
