3-star MLB sets Irish visit
Linebacker Kevin Mouhon of Norcross (Ga.) High realized on Monday morning that he held an offer from Notre Dame. "My high school coach informed me of the offer," Mouhon said. "I've actually had the offer for a while, but I didn't know about it because I haven't talked with the coaches in a while, but I think I am visiting next weekend. I am not completely sure of the date." "I know a lot about Notre Dame," Mouhon said. "I know they are a great team and they always have a great linebacker corps. During my visit, I want to get to know the coaches better and get a feel for how they impact the defense and how they coach their guys." Mouhon will visit with one his coaches at Norcross, Sean Milligan, a Notre Dame alum, and his teammates five-star defensvie end Lorenzo Carter and offensive lineman Blake Wood. Lorenzo Carter is remaining open to all schools until the end of summer, when he plans on narrowing his list. Carter doesn't plan on committing until national signing day. "I think we are visiting," Carter said. "I just don't know when." "I'm not sure where he (Carter) wants to go," Mouhon added. "But he's wanted to visit Notre Dame for a while." Mouhon, however, does have a leader - Tennessee. "Tennessee is my leader, but I don't really have an order after that," Mouhon said. "I plan on having a top five after this summer and knowing where I want to take my official visits, but I won't commit until signing day." Mouhon also plans to visit Georgia Tech, Florida, and Florida State this summer. He is a three-star prospect and ranked as the No. 20 middle linebacker in 2014.
