Senior Quarterback #11 Tommy Rees: Irish improved last week to 2-4 in his career when passing for more than 300 yards. Threw a touchdown, interception, and suffered a fumble en route to 161-yard passing day in 31-13 win over Michigan State in his only start vs. the Spartans, 2011.

Junior Running Back #33 Cam McDaniel: Has endured sporadic playing time, carrying 12 times for 68 yards in the opener, just once vs. Michigan in Game Two, and 16 times for 56 yards last Saturday in West Lafayette, scoring a touchdown in the latter.
Junior Tight End #18 Ben Koyack: Former #1 ranked TE prospect has not been targeted for a pass attempt this season. Late-game run blocking improved after a sideline chat with head coach Brian Kelly following a lost block that resulted in a tackle-for-loss on the game's final drive.
